Oak Ridge Derby


Our students are participating in the Oak Ridge Derby to help raise funds for instructional supplies and technology improvements at Oak Ridge Elementary School. Over the past two years, we have been able to purchase Ceiling Mounted Interactive Projectors for two-thirds of our classrooms; we need to purchase 12 more so that all of our classes can benefit from this technology. Each projector costs around $2800.00 so our goals this year is $35,000 but if we raise MORE money, then we can invest in other technology that our school needs to continue our high academic standards. 


Our school will be having a Derby Race on Friday, April 28, 2017. Our students will be running the derby track during the race to help support our school. Please sponsor your favorite Colt.

We all know that public schools struggle on a daily basis when it comes to funding. Each year our funding gets tighter, leaving the individuals schools to have to raise

ORES PTO will donate 100% net proceeds of the Oak Ridge Derb y t o Oak Ridge Elementary School. This is not a PTO fundraiser; we are simply collecting the money for the school to help. Your donation is 100% tax deductible.
