The ORES PTO always needs volunteer help. From the PTO Programs and Fundraisers, to assisting ORES with their volunteer needs, we have volunteer opportunities to fit anybody's schedule.
The ORES PTO currently has vacant committee chair positions that need to be filled. No matter what your schedule may be, you can help us! Please consider helping in a more active way and email us about your interest! We look forward to having you on board!
REGISTER WITH GCS
GCS requires that all volunteers register with them to serve as a volunteer inside any GCS School. After your initial registration or updating your existing registration, you are all set for one year. All volunteers must reregister on an annual basis. The ORES PTO does insure that all of our Volunteers are registered and approved prior to utilization.
As parents, we know that communication is a big deal and we want to make sure that you stay informed.
Every Sunday, we email a weekly newsletter. This newsletter details all of the school's and PTO's upcoming programs and events. If you are a current PTO member and not receiving the newsletter, please email us at email@example.com and let us know.
We also use Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Be sure to follow us!
Occassionally, the PTO may have a need to send a reminder to our families of upcoming school or PTO events or changes to such events (due to weather, etc.). We utilize our gmail account to send these out. Be sure to add to your safe contact list.
We are also using the Remind application. Remind is a text messaging service that will enable us to send quick, short texts to remind you of upcoming events or changes. If you would like to join our remind database, please follow the instructions below.
